Diggecard reported adding 25 digital brands to its gift card portfolio in the opening months of 2021. The March update brought its UK range to 100 brands, with many of the products also available in European markets.
Fashion additions named in the announcement included Mango, Adidas, H&M, Boohoo, Fat Face and Matalan. The food and hospitality range included Deliveroo, Leon and pub and restaurant brands such as All Bar One, Harvester, Toby Carvery and Miller & Carter.
The update also identified McColl's for convenience groceries, lastminute.com and Lavish Spa for travel and leisure, and Screwfix, B&Q and IKEA for home and DIY spending. These examples gave reward programme operators different categories to consider for their audiences.
Separately, Diggecard noted that Sainsbury's gift cards could be redeemed online. It explicitly described Sainsbury's as an existing brand in the range, distinguishing the redemption update from the newly added products.
The company said the wider catalogue could serve reward, incentive, promotion, benefit and discount programmes. Its announcement focused on keeping those programmes supplied with varied digital gift card content as consumer spending and gifting shifted during the pandemic.
