Diggecard added Uber Rides gift cards to its portfolio in June 2021. The company presented the addition as another option for businesses rewarding customers, employees and members.

The announcement explains that recipients redeem the card in the wallet section of the Uber app, with an unused balance available for a later trip. It describes Uber's wider service footprint as more than 10,000 cities at the time, without separately specifying the gift card's geographical acceptance terms.

Alongside incentives and employee benefits, Diggecard suggested using the cards within business travel arrangements to organise employee travel spending. The update concerns the distribution of Uber Rides gift cards through Diggecard's existing business offering.
