Diggecard described a partnership with Bluefin on March 13, 2025, connecting gift card issuance and redemption with the TECS Gateway and Bluefin's payment platform. The intended distribution partners included acquirers, payment service providers, point-of-sale suppliers, software vendors and other merchant aggregators.
The joint offering combined Diggecard’s gift card functionality with Bluefin’s TECS Gateway and payment encryption services. Diggecard said the web-based arrangement supported issuing and redeeming gift and loyalty cards without a cash-based process.
The description included white-label branding and transaction information that businesses could use to review programme engagement. It also listed an optional standalone mode that did not require integration with an electronic cash register.
Diggecard chief commercial officer Kristian Stølen said the relationship connected Bluefin’s gateway network with Diggecard’s omnichannel technology. He positioned it as an extension of Diggecard’s work with payment orchestration platforms.
The partnership announcement did not give a contract value, deployment volume or measured uplift in merchant sales. It described the combined capabilities and distribution route for businesses seeking gift card functionality within a payments offering.
