Runa highlighted its partnership with Global Hotel Card and Global Experiences Card in October 2024, adding accommodation and activity choices to its business reward offering. The products use inventory powered by Expedia and Viator respectively.

The announcement described access to more than 600,000 hotels and 350,000 experiences across 190 countries. The experience examples included guided tours, attractions, cultural activities, walking tours and food-related activities.

Runa said the cards were available in more than 30 currencies, with multiple-language options for recipients. It positioned that coverage around businesses rewarding customers or employees in different markets.

The company described fulfilment as immediate and the cards as ready to spend on receipt. Programme operators could integrate the travel products into existing incentives while allowing recipients to choose the accommodation or activity themselves.

The inventory counts and currency coverage are the figures reported in the October 2024 update. The partnership concerns access to travel reward products through Runa rather than Runa operating the hotels, activities or underlying booking inventory.
