BedFlow has changed how accommodation operators deliver gift vouchers and invoice their sale, connecting the recipient email with the accounting records created when a voucher is purchased and later redeemed. The property-management platform dated the update September 17.
Operators can now send a voucher they create immediately or schedule its delivery. Buyers also receive a purchase invoice without waiting for the recipient to book a stay. According to the release notes [S01], the invoice becomes final after payment and is offset when the voucher is spent.
Configurable voucher value, delivery and settlement
The change builds on an existing product: BedFlow's August 8 release already described configurable voucher types, values and validity, alongside website sales. September's announcement concerns delivery and invoicing, rather than the first launch of gift vouchers.
The voucher manual, updated October 19, lists editable shop defaults of EUR 25 for the minimum purchase and EUR 5,000 for the maximum, with a default validity of 24 months. These are initial configuration values, not compulsory denominations or evidence of how much guests actually spend. Operators set the voucher types and their suggested values. [S02]

The delivery workflow attaches a PDF and redemption code. Scheduled messages go out at 9 a.m. on the chosen day, while an operator can resend a voucher if needed.
BedFlow's current product documentation [S02] describes the later booking invoice as recording the stay and a negative gift-voucher settlement line. The company says this prevents the same voucher revenue from being counted twice. That is its description of the software's treatment, rather than a general statement about merchants' accounting obligations.
The same manual says a booking accepts one code. Under its described single-use gift-voucher flow, a stay costing less than the voucher does not leave the difference available for later use. Merchants therefore need to align their configured values and customer terms with the booking and settlement flow. [S02]
BedFlow serves accommodation businesses, with voucher redemption linked to its booking system.
