Brightspot Incentives & Events has described how manufacturers can run showroom incentive programs that reward sales associates and other professionals involved in recommending their products.
The September 7, 2023 guide covers industries including kitchen and bath, appliances, flooring, furniture and lighting. It identifies salespeople as a core audience, with designers, contractors, installers and other influencers also potentially eligible under a sponsor’s rules.
Brightspot recommends defining eligible products, award values and sales dates, then combining transaction rewards with short training activities. It describes points that can be redeemed for merchandise, travel, retail gift cards or Visa prepaid cards, with the selection based on the participant audience and program economics.
The company’s Ignite software was described as a mobile-responsive platform supporting claim forms or sales uploads, transaction verification, point calculations and catalog redemption. A participant dashboard presents promotions, available learning and suggested next actions.
The guide also references Brightspot’s acquisition of Incentive Team, a specialist in kitchen and bath loyalty programs. It states that Incentive Team president Peter Goldberger would become an account executive at Brightspot.
Brightspot presented dashboard, reporting, security and privacy enhancements as development priorities associated with the combination. Those roadmap items were separate from the platform functions already described in the guide.
