The Collier Companies moved its apartment leasing incentives onto Virtual Incentives, replacing a process that involved shipping and storing physical gift cards.

A case study published in October 2025 described cards travelling from the corporate office through regional managers to individual properties. The earlier process could take two to three weeks and relied on spreadsheets and signatures to track distribution.

Under the digital arrangement, an approved resident receives an email and selects a gift card. The platform connects with Collier’s customer-management system and records delivery, opening and redemption activity.

Virtual Incentives said the change removed on-site card storage and reduced the time leasing teams spent arranging collections. Collier vice-president of revenue Ricky Brown also described improved accountability and quicker access to rewards for residents.

The case study reported avoided losses associated with untracked physical cards and said the approach had become standard across Collier’s portfolio. Those financial and operational outcomes are the companies’ reported experience with this implementation, rather than a forecast for every property operator.
