Recipients select Ponta Point Code in Digico's exchange interface and then register the issued code on the Ponta Point Code website. The resulting reward is loyalty points, rather than a cash payment or a newly issued physical gift card.

The service already supports a mixture of gift cards, electronic money, loyalty points and cash routes. Examples in the announcement include Amazon gift cards, QUO Card Pay, d-point gifts and PayPay Money Lite. The latter cannot be withdrawn as cash.

DIGITALIO describes Digico as available without setup or monthly fees, with same-day issuance from a single ¥1
