Extole has launched Reward Bank, a feature that lets customers accumulate incentives across multiple steps in a referral or engagement program. The May 20, 2025 announcement adds a branded place to earn, track and redeem those rewards within the Extole platform.
Brands can assign value to actions such as sharing a link, generating a referral click, signing up, opening an account or completing a purchase. The reward can take the form of points, credits or time-based subscription benefits, according to the rules the brand configures.
Each customer gets access to an embeddable redemption center showing the balance, rewards earned and redeemed, and the activity contributing to their progress. Once the defined threshold is reached, the customer can select a redemption option or continue accumulating value.
The choices described include gift cards through Tango, Tremendous or BHN, as well as custom offers, discounts and subscription months. The options depend on the program configuration, while the customer decides when to use the balance.
Extole also sends earned-reward and redemption emails that link customers back to their Reward Bank. For administrators, new reporting covers earned, redeemed, outstanding and expired balances, with detailed audit logs.
Brands can configure multiple reward banks for different segments or regions without development work, according to Extole. The company presents the feature as an extension beyond rewarding only the final conversion in a referral journey.
Redemption reminders, additional statistics and expanded analytics were identified as upcoming enhancements. The launch announcement reported positive early responses but did not give quantified customer results.
