Gamagori Moonlight Point Club has added digital gift cards to its redemption catalogue, including Amazon Gift and QUO Card Pay. The Japanese boat-racing operator confirmed that the new option began on October 1, following a September 29 maintenance notice announcing the addition. [S01] [S02]

The change adds a choice of merchant gift value and other digital destinations to the club’s existing reward range. Product listings include ¥500 and ¥100,000 digital gifts, but their exchange options differ. The ¥500 product lists Google Play, nanaco Gift and FamiPay among its destinations; those options do not appear on the ¥100,000 listing. Both include Amazon Gift and QUO Card Pay. [S03] [S04]

Fulfillment runs on a published schedule

Recipients have 90 days to receive the digital gift. The operator schedules email delivery twice a month: requests made from the first through the 15th are scheduled for the 25th of that month, and requests from the 16th through month-end for the following month’s 10th. Its published calendar lists October 25 for the first October request period and November 10 for the second, while noting that delivery may be delayed. [S03] [S05]

The selected destination also affects the amount received. The ¥500 product states that a 5% deduction applies to PayPay Money Lite, Ponta points and nanaco Gift. The ¥100,000 listing identifies PayPay Money Lite and Ponta for that deduction. These conditions make destination availability and net value part of the redemption decision. [S03] [S04]

JPY475 is calculated as 500 × 0.95 from the published terms. These are gross and net values of the same product under the named routes, not independent sales, observed redemptions or a fee applied to every destination.

A changing reward catalogue

The launch comes as the operator prepares to end its separate cash-redemption option. In a March 24 notice, it set that closure for March 31, 2027 and said it would consider expanding gift certificates and other rewards thereafter. That earlier notice attributed the wider service changes to national guidance addressing gambling dependency. [S06]

The two reviewed gift products also offer different menus of destinations: the JPY500 page enumerates 12, while the JPY100,000 page enumerates eight. This is a count of the options explicitly listed on those two pages, not an exhaustive count of all denominations or a measure of customer preference. [S03] [S04]

The October gift-card route is now confirmed as available; the cash-redemption closure remains a future change announced in March. The live launch notice does not name a technology supplier or disclose redemption volumes, so it does not establish a new supplier partnership or the scale of demand. [S01] [S06]
