Giftbit has outlined four decisions for businesses designing a digital rewards program: duration, reward terms, recipient choice and expected volume. Its July 27, 2026 guide links those decisions to delivery methods, funding arrangements and the administration needed after launch.

For occasional campaigns or bulk orders, Giftbit recommends its web app. Teams can upload contacts and use Giftbit’s email delivery, or distribute Giftbit Links through their own email, CRM communications or text messages. For recurring recognition, referrals or points programs, the guide identifies its API and Zapier integration as automation options.

The company distinguishes earned rewards from promotions intended to prompt an immediate response. It recommends keeping earned rewards available without a claim-by deadline, while using a defined claim period where appropriate for promotional offers. These are program-design recommendations in the guide.

Catalog selection determines how much choice recipients receive. Giftbit describes its full catalog as offering regional gift card options, while a curated selection can support a particular campaign theme. Its examples include wellness rewards for employees and coffee gift cards linked to demo bookings.

Volume also affects the commercial setup. The provider says larger programs may qualify for customized pricing and recommends checking the support available for a smaller program before choosing a distributor.

For recurring activity, Giftbit recommends planning account funding through options such as direct debit, automatic loading or low-balance alerts. It also suggests using a shared sender inbox because the sender address appears in reward communications and on the offer page.
