GoTimesharing has introduced a holiday travel campaign combining discounted resort stays with $500 gift card prizes. The platform, developed by the American Resort Development Association, announced the offer on September 14.
Travelers booking selected timeshare resorts through December 15 can use the HomeAwayFromHome promotion code for a 20% discount. The campaign also offers up to 50 travelers a chance to win a $500 gift card for expenses such as food, decorations or leisure activities.
ARDA is presenting the campaign around family gatherings, highlighting multi-bedroom accommodation, kitchens and shared living areas as alternatives to hosting relatives at home. Jason Gamel, the association’s president and chief executive, said those facilities can reduce some of the practical demands of holiday visits.
The announcement cites ARDA research in which 70% of traveling timeshare owners said they planned to stay at their timeshare resort for the holidays. It also reports that 79% identified avoiding the pressure of hosting as a significant reason for choosing timesharing that season.
The research linked in the release is the Vacation Ownership Sentiment Index for August 2026. Those findings concern the owners surveyed, rather than all holiday travelers.
GoTimesharing provides information about timeshare holidays and participating stays. ARDA is a Washington, DC-based trade association representing more than 300 companies across development, vacation clubs, exchanges, resort management and related services.
