Japanese pet-care company Inuneko Seikatsu has approved a shareholder-benefit programme that will distribute vouchers for its official online shop twice a year, with the first eligibility date set for October 31, 2026.

The board made the decision on September 14. The company says it wants shareholders to experience its products and services more readily and to support the business over time. The announcement establishes the programme and its terms; it does not report a measured increase in shareholder loyalty or product sales. [S01]

Two award tiers, checked twice a year

The entry tier requires at least 100 shares and provides one voucher worth JPY1,500 at each qualifying register date. The higher tier, for holdings of at least 300 shares, provides two JPY3,000 vouchers, totalling JPY6,000 per award. The higher-tier amount is therefore JPY6,000, rather than JPY3,000 in total. After the initial October 31 date, the recurring eligibility checks fall at the end of April and October. Holders must be recorded on the shareholder register at the relevant date. Inuneko plans to send the vouchers within three months of each record date.

The company's same-day release distributed through PR Times adds that vouchers will be valid for six months after dispatch and can be used only at the official online shop. Those terms define a merchant-specific benefit with a limited use period, rather than broadly accepted payment value. [S02]

The face values describe what an eligible shareholder is promised at each award. The announcements do not disclose the number of qualifying recipients, total programme cost or eventual redemption value.

Product experience is the stated commercial purpose

Inuneko develops and sells pet food and operates other pet-care services, including veterinary care. It was founded in 2018 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth market in April 2026. Its online-shop range includes complete pet food, supplements, toppings and snacks. [S01] [S03]

Restricting the vouchers to the company's own shop connects the shareholder benefit directly with its retail relationship. Shareholders choose from the available merchandise, while the company gains an opportunity for them to try its range. Whether that leads to repeat purchases remains an outcome to be established.

The promised shop value differs by tier: JPY1,500 per record for 100-299 shares and JPY6,000 for at least 300 shares. The higher amount consists of two JPY3,000 vouchers. These amounts define the opportunity to try the merchandise, not the value of products already bought or evidence that trial becomes repeat purchasing. [S01] [S02]

The releases do not identify an outside voucher provider, a physical or digital delivery format, or detailed rules for combining vouchers, refunds and transfers. They also do not establish acceptance at veterinary clinics or other businesses merely because those activities form part of the wider group.

September's decision creates a recurring voucher commitment with defined shareholding tiers, distribution timing and a shop restriction. Actual issuance and use will follow the first register date, so the announcement should be read as an approved programme ahead of fulfilment.
