Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare reported 90,445 Health GO app registrations in the first 24 hours of its Health Token earning phase, alongside 207,813 people consenting to the programme through the National Health Insurance app. The October 2 release provides early participation figures for a scheme whose merchant-voucher redemption is scheduled to start December 1. [S02][S03]

The figures cover October 1 at 10 a.m. to October 2 at 10 a.m. Consent and Health GO registration are different enrolment steps; the totals are not voucher redemptions, spending or a measured conversion rate. The ministry also acknowledged real-name verification problems affecting some operating systems or browsers and said it was addressing them. [S02]
