TruCentive proposed coordinating customer appreciation gift cards with employee recognition in guidance published on June 16, 2025. Using Get to Know Your Customers Day as a planning occasion, it discussed rewards for feedback and purchasing milestones alongside recognition for customer-facing staff.
Its customer-facing examples included gifts selected around interests or purchasing milestones, access to additional services and rewards for taking part in feedback exercises. One proposal was to offer a selection of gift cards so a customer could choose a preferred brand.
For employees, TruCentive suggested recognising service achievements, responses to customer feedback and completion of relevant training. It described individual awards and team rewards as different ways to acknowledge
