Buyatab was named Growth Company of the Year at the 2018 BC Technology Impact Awards, the company reported on June 4. The 25th annual ceremony took place in Vancouver on June 1.

The award was organized by the British Columbia Technology Industry Association. Buyatab founder and chief operating officer Matias Marquez credited the company's staff and merchant partnerships in its announcement.
