Sendoso launched Oso on March 18, 2026, adding a conversational interface to its gifting analytics. The initial offer, available on Plus plans and above, let customers question programme data and receive charts. Product leader Cody Farmer described reporting as the starting point, with action-taking capabilities still ahead. [S01]
The commercial significance lies in the budget conversation around the gift. A sales team may know that it sent rewards, while a finance team still wants to know which campaign consumed the money and whether the response justified further spending. Easier access to those records could make the platform more useful after the delivery itself.
An analytics interface within a wider gifting subscription
Sendoso describes its business as helping marketing, sales and customer-experience teams use direct mail and gifting throughout the customer relationship. Its account of the company's origins links co-founder Kris Rudeegraap's sales experience with the difficulty of making meaningful connections through digital outreach. [S03]
That history helps explain why analytics belongs in the product. Gift cards are a means of reaching people; the buyer is usually accountable for a commercial objective such as securing a conversation, supporting an account or recognising a customer. Tracking what happened after a send makes the purchase easier to discuss internally.
The current plan comparison packages digital gifts and a marketplace alongside progressively broader fulfilment, integrations and administrative controls. It lists Oso within the Advanced offering. These current plan names differ from the Plus terminology in the March release; the original launch entitlement should not be confused with today's packaging. Public pricing is sales-led. [S04]
Sendoso’s plan grid checked on October 19 includes five licences in each entry package, ten in Core and fifty in Advanced. Enterprise licensing is custom. These are contractual access allowances across the wider platform, not counts of Oso users. Advanced explicitly includes Oso; the lower-tier numbers do not establish that those licences include the agent. [4]
Included platform licences vary by Sendoso package

Published package allowances, not actual seats used, customers, gift-card transactions or Oso adoption. Oso is explicitly in Advanced and inherited by Enterprise; the entry plans’ licences are not claimed to include it. Enterprise is custom, not zero. These current package names differ from Plus in the March 18 launch; no launch price or measured time saving is inferred.

| Category | Included platform licences |
|---|---|
| Start With Merch | 5 licences per subscription |
| Start With Gifting | 5 licences per subscription |
| Core | 10 licences per subscription |
| Advanced | 50 licences per subscription |
Analytically, this creates two possible gains for Sendoso: stronger reasons to choose a richer package, and a more regular role in customers' operating reviews. Those are plausible effects of its product structure, not disclosed Oso subscription revenue or evidence of lower churn.

The distinction in the table matters for spending authority. Reporting on a campaign is not the same as deciding to expand it. The launch described existing access permissions carrying through into Oso, so conversational convenience did not imply a new grant of authority. [S01]
Sendoso's product overview also separates Oso from tools that recommend gifts, write messages or help delivery, and from its connection to external assistants. A shared product page does not turn every neighbouring feature into an Oso capability. [S02]
The clearest economic opportunity for customers is less time assembling an explanation of programme activity. A team comparing gift card campaigns with physical sends could use that time to examine who responded, what the reward cost and whether the recipient advanced in the intended relationship.
But a low cost per engagement is not necessarily a low customer-acquisition cost. A claimed card, an accepted meeting and a completed sale are different outcomes. Attribution also becomes harder when recipients have already interacted with salespeople or other campaigns.
Oso gives Sendoso a way to bring those questions closer to the spending workflow. The missing evidence is a measured comparison showing that using the agent improved decisions or commercial outcomes. Until then, the launch establishes an analytics interface and a product-packaging opportunity, rather than a demonstrated increase in gifting returns.
