Clutch introduced Play & earn on September 19, 2026, allowing users to install and play offered games to receive in-app Credits. The France-based operator said advertising income alone had not covered the cost of its gift-card rewards and presented the optional feature as another source of revenue. It did not disclose offer-partner payments, adoption or a measured improvement in programme profitability. [1]
The points needed to reach a gift-card reward
Clutch uses Credits for predictions and Points for rewards. An offer that supplies Credits therefore does not directly issue a gift card. A later public Shop check on October 19 showed six Amazon.com denominations, from USD 5 for 20,500 Points to USD 100 for 410,000 Points. The chart records the displayed prices for that one US-dollar listing; it does not generalise across the worldwide catalogue. [2] [3]

Observed public US-dollar Amazon.com listing on October 19, 2026, not September launch terms. Points differ from Credits and have no cash value. Prices and availability can change; this is not a guaranteed payout, game-offer earning rate, time-to-reward measure or audited redemption result.

The displayed intermediate options were USD 10 for 41,000 Points, USD 20 for 82,000 Points, USD 25 for 102,500 Points and USD 50 for 205,000 Points. These were the published redemption requirements in the detail panel, not Points calculated from a hypothetical game session. No reward was redeemed as part of the check. [2]
The official rules, marked updated October 8, 2026, say correct predictions earn Points using the odds locked when the prediction is placed. They describe a house margin and an additional underdog adjustment, so receiving more Credits does not guarantee a fixed number of Points. Both units have no cash value and cannot be purchased, sold or transferred into money under the rules. [4]
The same rules identify Tremendous as the digital reward-delivery partner and state that prizes are sent by email. Clutch may change the price, denomination, selection or availability of Shop rewards, including between viewing and redemption. Suspected cheating or account abuse can result in a reward being withheld. Those terms limit what can be inferred from a catalogue snapshot. [4]
Play & earn is optional according to the September announcement; users could continue with daily Credits and advertising offers. Clutch described the additional revenue and faster access to rewards as expected benefits, but provided no complete game-offer schedule, participant cohort or financial dataset demonstrating those results. The later Shop prices show the redemption hurdle, not how quickly a player can clear it. [1] [2]
Rodger Studio operates Clutch and describes it as a free prediction game without real-money stakes. Its current rules require participants to be at least 18 and reserve eligibility and other restrictions. These are the operator’s product descriptions and terms; they do not establish a legal classification in every jurisdiction or verify the sustainability of the model. [4] [5]
The commercial change is an additional source of revenue linked to players earning Credits. To demonstrate that it funds rewards sustainably would require comparable revenue, reward-cost and completed-redemption data. The actual Points schedule makes the recipient mechanics more concrete while leaving those business outcomes unresolved.
