Chase and DoorDash launched the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard on March 1, 2023, with Mastercard as the exclusive network. The program allowed cardholders to redeem rewards for gift cards, delivery orders, statement credits or deposits into a bank account.

At launch, the card earned 4% cash back on DoorDash and Caviar orders, 3% on dining purchased directly from restaurants, 2% at grocery stores and 1% on other purchases. The structure extended rewards beyond transactions inside DoorDash's own platform.

The introductory package included a year of DashPass and a limited-time $100 bonus after $500 of purchases within three months. A further annual DashPass membership could be earned by meeting the program's $10,000 spending requirement.
