Finder has suspended its USD300 gift-card reward for customers opening a Varo bank account through its comparison service, while saying qualifying participants already in the process will remain eligible.
The promoter's notice dates the suspension to September 17, 2026 and says it was made at Varo's request. New participation is unavailable until further notice. Finder says discussions with Varo continue, but gives no reason for the suspension or date for resumption. [S01]
Conditional eligibility and the remaining delivery obligations
The change stops an acquisition incentive before the original October 9 end of its advertised promotion period. It also leaves a separate obligation to verify and fulfil rewards for eligible existing participants.
The notice says customers who had met the requirements, or were still within the period allowed to meet them, retain eligibility. Finder says their rewards will be honoured after verification. This protection is conditional on meeting the applicable terms, rather than a statement that every person who began an application will receive USD300. [S01]
The underlying offer linked the reward to a new Varo account and a first eligible direct deposit of at least USD500 within 35 days. Continued account and qualification requirements apply through fulfilment. The published terms identify November 10 as the eligibility-check date and December 10 as the expected latest reward-issue date.
The remaining obligations have separate clocks. The first qualifying deposit is due within 35 days of account opening. An eligibility dispute has a 60-day window from the eligibility date; reporting an undeliverable reward has 60 days from the applicable fulfilment date. The chart compares stated periods, not an expected total wait or a service-performance result. [S01]

Those dates describe the planned process. The notice does not report how many customers qualify or how much reward value has been issued.
Finder.com LLC is the promoter and sole provider of the reward. The terms name Tremendous LLC as its fulfilment supplier. Although the offer is presented as a digital Visa gift-card promotion, the contractual description allows a digital reward, gift card, reward link, prepaid card or other available digital fulfilment option through Tremendous. [S01]
Varo supplies the banking account and eligibility information. The reward terms are separate from the bank's account terms and expressly say the reward is not provided, sponsored or endorsed by Varo.
Finder operates a product-comparison business supported by partner referral payments. Its company information describes gift-card bonuses as part of Finder Rewards, linking rewards to customer switching and acquisition. [S02]
This arrangement divides the process among the comparison platform funding the incentive, the bank supplying qualifying-account data and the provider delivering reward value. Suspending new participation does not, according to Finder's notice, remove the verification and fulfilment process for protected prior entrants.
No participant count, financial exposure or explanation for Varo's request is disclosed. The announcement establishes a suspension and continuing conditional eligibility; it does not establish missed payments, a banking failure or a problem with Tremendous' delivery service.
