Member Access Processing announced on June 27, 2023 that it would offer ampliFI Loyalty Solutions' Real-Time Rewards Suite to the companies' mutual credit union clients. The arrangement covers institutions using MAP for credit and debit card processing.

The suite includes Fuel With Points, Pay With Points and Checkout With Points. These services allow cardholders to use accumulated rewards at a fuel pump, during checkout or following a transaction, depending on the redemption option.

ampliFI described the outcome as a discount, reduction in the purchase amount or credit generated from the cardholder's points. The aim is to make redemption available where members are spending, rather than requiring them to arrange every redemption separately from the purchase.

Dan Ruppe, MAP's senior vice president of product services, said the arrangement would give credit union members a more immediate way to redeem credit and debit card points. Ron Silvia, ampliFI's chief revenue officer, connected the suite with the company's loyalty and cardholder engagement services.

MAP serves credit unions through the Visa Debit Processing Service platform. Its broader processing portfolio includes debit, credit, ATM, mobile, reloadable prepaid and gift card programs. The announcement concerns the ampliFI redemption suite for mutual clients and does not specify an implementation timetable or commercial pricing.
