Kindo has connected its childcare rewards app to Tillo, allowing parents to exchange points associated with eligible nursery invoices for retailer gift cards. Tillo announced the partnership on February 23, 2026, followed by Kindo's own account on March 12. [S01] [S02]

The nursery bill may explain when a family earns a reward, but the commercial question is who pays for that reward and under what conditions.

Kindo and Tillo describe this division of responsibilities in their announcements. [S01] [S02] The current Kindo website makes a further distinction: an eligible invoice does not have to have been paid before it is uploaded. It values one point at £1 for its reward system. Verification of an invoice should therefore not be confused with independent confirmation of a completed bank payment. [S03]

That distinction matters to the economics. Rewards linked to invoiced spending require rules about eligibility, duplicate submissions and later changes. The nursery still expects its ordinary fee; the reward is a separate benefit whose value depends on the programme's terms.

Kindo's current employer page, checked October 19, gives a more specific menu than the launch release: Family advertises 3% back on nursery fees, Plus 5% and Premium 10%. It says employers are billed per enrolled parent each month, but does not publish a complete per-parent price schedule alongside those three tiers. The figures are advertised reward-plan rates, not independently measured savings, a percentage discount charged by the nursery or Tillo's revenue share. [S06]
